The CVC Innovation Hub.
We are crowd-sourcing the future of high-performance volleyball.
Comfort is the Enemy.
CVC was built on a simple, dangerous belief: nothing great happens when you are content. We are allergic to "good enough." While other clubs settle into routine, we are actively hunting for the friction, the gaps, and the feedback that is hardest to hear. That is where the growth is.
We Compete Only With Our Potential.
We don't look sideways at other clubs. We look in the mirror. Our standard is internal, and it is moving higher every single day. We are never satisfied — even when we win, we ask "how could we have dominated?"
Failure is Data.
We love trial and error. Failure isn't a mistake; it's a signal. It tells us what doesn't work so we can ruthlessly focus on what does. We trial, we error, and we iterate. It is in our DNA to experiment until we break the mold.
No Idea is Too Crazy.
The Lab is our open channel for the boldest concepts. We throw everything on the table — no matter how radical — and work backwards to make it reality. We aren't looking for safe suggestions. We are looking for the next leap forward.
We love this. Every bit of it.
We are seeking breakthroughs in three specific silos.
If you have an idea that fits here, we want to hear it.
Do you have an idea that will make our athletes faster, stronger, or smarter than the opposition? Have you come across any wearable tech integration, recovery protocols, neuro-priming tools, or video analysis software that might gives us a competitive edge?
Environment dictates performance. Is there a facility, a partnership with a gym, or even a concept for upgrading our training base that you think is worth exploring? We want to build a world-class home for Queensland volleyball.
High performance requires resources. Do you have an idea around disruptive sponsorship models, recruitment pipelines, or commercial ventures that you think might drive revenue back into our athlete ecosystem?
*Your concept doesn't need to be a finished product or fully mapped out. We want raw ambition and unconstrained imagination — let your mind run wild.

The best ideas don't stay on paper. Here is a concept from the community that CVC is exploring.
Status Tag: 🟢 EVALUATING
Concept Title: VR Cognitive Priming for Setters
The Pitch: "Utilising Virtual Reality headsets to train setter decision-making and peripheral vision in a zero-gravity environment. This allows athletes to get thousands of tactical 'reps' and read defensive blocks without the physical load of jumping."
Why we love it: It separates cognitive load from physical fatigue — a massive advantage for tournament play. And...it's outside the box.

Don't hold back. You don't need a business plan or a budget. Give us the raw idea, explain why it changes the game, and let our strategic team handle the feasibility and execution.
