We all may experience financial hardship at some time. This may be related to illness, unemployment or reduced income, a pandemic, natural disaster or relationship breakdown. But getting support is important - you are not alone. We are here to help.
The mission of CVC Assist is to lend a helping hand to members who may be going through a difficult time and are struggling financially, impacting their participation or involvement with the club.
If you're experiencing financial difficulty, we encourage you to reach out to us early, so we can help find the right solution for you.
With CVC Assist, we are stronger together.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Based on your circumstances, we will assess your eligibility for a range of options we have, including:
(1) Customised payment arrangements, such as the option to defer or reduce repayments.
(2) An extension on any amount payable.
(3) Pausing fees.
For more information regarding CVC Assist, see the CVC Assist Policy or alternatively, reach out to our club staff should you have any questions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
To help us determine how we can best support you, we may ask:
- About your income and expenses
- For documents to support your claim for financial hardship assistance (e.g., a medical certificate or employment separation certificate)
Everything you tell us will be confidential and assessed on a case-by-case basis. You can nominate someone to discuss your request for help if you prefer (e.g., a financial counsellor, friend or family member).
